Send us a textPart 2 of 31998 UNSOLVED HOMICIDE IN COLUMBUS, OHIOSTACEY B. COLBERTJoin us as we keep the flame of hope burning for Stacey, with a firm belief that together, we can bring her long-awaited justice."And here we find ourselves where we started in 1998, at Stacey's apartment on that Friday night after she chats with people at that Arlington bar -her colleagues and some unknown individuals-and we still don't know who the man or men are that Stacey was chatting with at the bar. Yet we know she went home, we know she got a ride and we know she opened her door for someone and that was the last action of free will she was ever allowed to do."You are loved. You matter. And you deserve to be found.xoxo Jules & Jo (your true crime besties)Support the show

Send us a textPart 1 of 31998 UNSOLVED HOMICIDE IN COLUMBUS, OHIOSTACEY B. COLBERT "I won’t bury the leed-let me come out and say that I do believe there is a man out there who is responsible for killing Stacey, and he is walking free. And this man is likely living with demons over and over- and I also believe he has a friend from that time who knows information who has also tried to carry on with his life, but lives in the shadow of his dark secrets. My point is this- someone knows something and they’re choosing to instead live a life free from judicial consequences. We can only hope that whoever has information and has been withholding isn’t out living on a beach somewhere, relaxing, and living like this never happened. I hope we can help bring them the skeletons out of their dark closet and let Stacey’s friends and family finally have answers- something they’ve been denied for over 20 years."Despite the chilling obstacles, we're determined to reignite the fight for Stacey Colbert and shed light on the ongoing challenges faced by cold cases like hers. We discuss how crucial it is to support the missing ones and their loved ones, ensuring their stories remain alive in the minds of people. Join us as we keep the flame of hope burning for Stacey, with a firm belief that together, we can bring her long-awaited justice. You are loved. You matter. And you deserve to be found.xoxo Jules & Jo (your true crime besties) Instagram:Updates @finishingstaceysfight Follow Jules @yourhostjulesFollow us @truecrimeandheadlinesTikTok @truecrimeandheadlinesDonate to our podcasting funds: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/tchjulesandjo GoFundMe for Stacey's team to continue her fight.Find our notes, sources, and further reading on our website:https://www.truecrimeandheadlines.com/ Want to advertise with us? Send us a textIn 2005, Heather Bloom is a 28-year-old adult Caucasian female with Down syndrome when she is last seen in Berkeley, California. Police are called to the apartment she shares with her caretaker, her sister Shari, over reports of alleged yelling coming from inside the residence.
